Your expert guide will be waiting for you at the Puerta del Perdón of the Mosque Cathedral, the door of the bell tower. Start your tour with a look at the famous Patio de los Naranjos (Orange Tree Courtyard). This is the oldest courtyard in the city with origins that are linked to the creation of the building itself in the 8th century.
Discover what this courtyard was used for, and take a peek at the old minaret, which is still inside the bell tower after all these years!
Continue on to the magical Mosque-Cathedral, where its forest of columns and two-colored arches are a testament to the many changes made throughout its storied history. It became the largest Mosque in the West in the 10th century, and you'll get the lowdown on its conversion into the current Cathedral of Cordoba.
