Tour the Battleship IOWA, where President Franklin D. Roosevelt sailed in 1943 for the Casablanca and Tehran Conferences.
Learn about its near-catastrophic friendly fire incident and its unique history as the only U.S. Navy vessel whose crew was once arrested and then pardoned by a sitting president.
This guided tour offers access to special areas like the Captain’s Cabin, which has the only presidential bathtub on a Navy warship. Hear stories of diplomacy, danger, and daily life at sea.
Your tour also includes full access to our Life of a Sailor self-guided experience, where you'll explore seven decks of interactive exhibits, hear sailor stories, and join the family-friendly Vicky the Dog scavenger hunt.
End your visit with a trip to the ship's store and a famous hot dog from Vicky's Doghouse.
