During this guided tour of the Acropolis Museum, you’ll get up close with wonders of the ancient world, including archaic statues that have retained their color, excavated treasures, and more.
Highlights of the Acropolis Museum include the relics of the Temple of Athena Nike; sculptures depicting the Gigantomachy, the battle between the Gods of Olumpus and the giants; and Korai, marble statues of young women.
Exhibits cover the period from the 5th century BC to the 5th century AD and you’ll have an expert shedding light on the most interesting events in that time span.
The Acropolis Museum also offers insight into the development of the city-state and the country's transition from aristocracy to tyranny and, eventually, democracy.
