St. Peter’s Basilica is more than just a church, it's a place of rich history. The expert guide will walk you through its fascinating past, shedding light on Vatican City State, the world's smallest yet most influential country. Inside, you'll see golden ceilings, iconic sculptures like Michelangelo’s Pietà, Bernini’s masterpieces, and incredible mosaics.
Next, go to the Vatican Grottoes, where you'll find St. Peter's tomb, the resting place of popes, and ancient pillars dating back 1700 years.
Afterward, relax by a beautiful fountain offering fresh water. If you're up for it, you can explore more of the basilica or climb the dome for a breathtaking 360º view of Rome (dome tickets are not included and are available at the entrance).
