La Brea Tar Pits and Museum: Guided Insider Tour
About this experience
Take a journey back 50,000 years to the Ice Age by attending the La Brea Tar Pits Insider Tour. Participate in an expert-led activity that provides access to areas and findings usually reserved for specialists.
Observe the site of an active dig in a metropolitan area where large Ice Age mammals once roamed, and learn about the ongoing research conducted by Ice Age scientists.
The activity includes observing the Columbian mammoth sculptures near the Lake Pit and viewing an operational tar excavation site up close. Also, examine microfossils dating back more than 10,000 years while learning from expert scientists.

HMBotel notes for choosing your ticket
Compare the inclusions above with your plans: admission, a guided visit and a combination ticket may cover different services. The venue name alone is not enough to compare them.
Check the meeting point and arrival instructions before adding another activity. The displayed duration describes the activity; plan travel from your hotel and your return separately.
Booking and payment take place with Tiqets. On that final page, confirm the date, participants, visit language, final price and cancellation rules; an indicative HMBotel price is not a guarantee of availability.
