Laura Plantation: Union Soldiers Guided Tour
About this experience
Take part in a 50-minute guided tour to learn about nine individuals who were formerly enslaved at Laura Plantation and later joined the United States Armed Forces during the Civil War.
In 1865, individuals of African descent made up approximately 10% of the United States military, with over 200,000 members, including more than 24,000 from Louisiana.
During the tour, visit significant locations, including the front of the house, the raised basement, the kitchen garden, and an original 1840s cabin.

HMBotel notes for choosing your ticket
Compare the inclusions above with your plans: admission, a guided visit and a combination ticket may cover different services. The venue name alone is not enough to compare them.
Check the meeting point and arrival instructions before adding another activity. The displayed duration describes the activity; plan travel from your hotel and your return separately.
Booking and payment take place with Tiqets. On that final page, confirm the date, participants, visit language, final price and cancellation rules; an indicative HMBotel price is not a guarantee of availability.
