Langjökull Glacier: Guided Tour with Transport from Reykjavík
About this experience
Fulfill your yearning for adventure with climbing expedition tickets on Langjökull glacier and a peek inside a man-made ice cave. Explore the second-largest glacier in Iceland with this unmissable opportunity to see what makes the heart of one of these white giants tick.
Start your Langjökull glacier adventure with roundtrip transport from the Reykjavik area and head towards the ice fields on an 8-wheeled vehicle, specially equipped to handle this harsh terrain. On the way, check out the lava falls at Hraunfossar, Barnafossar Waterfalls, and the thermal springs of Deildartunguhver – and that's just on the commute!
Once you arrive at the Langjökull glacier, your experienced ice expert will teach you how to use your ice gear as you traverse the surface of the glacier. Step inside the man-made tunnels carved out of the glacier itself as your guide explains the anatomy of a glacier, Iceland's unique geology, and the glacier's significance to the global ecosystem.

HMBotel notes for choosing your ticket
Compare the inclusions above with your plans: admission, a guided visit and a combination ticket may cover different services. The venue name alone is not enough to compare them.
Check the meeting point and arrival instructions before adding another activity. The displayed duration describes the activity; plan travel from your hotel and your return separately.
Booking and payment take place with Tiqets. On that final page, confirm the date, participants, visit language, final price and cancellation rules; an indicative HMBotel price is not a guarantee of availability.
