Sant'Ambrogio Market Florence: Guided Food Tour
About this experience
Join a local chef from Florence’s Sant’Ambrogio district for a tasting tour in the city’s authentic food market. Learn about Tuscan cuisine with guidance from a Michelin-starred expert.
Begin with a classic espresso before entering Sant’Ambrogio Market, active since 1873. Visit stalls, taste traditional cold cuts like prosciutto and finocchiona, and sample local cheeses while learning about artisanal production.
Sit at a deli counter and try dishes such as pappa al pomodoro and brasato, paired with house wine. After the market, walk through the neighborhood to a wine shop for a tasting of two Tuscan wines, paired with crostoni.
Finish with Italian gelato from one of the top gelaterias in town. Choose from classic or bold flavors and understand why gelato is a favorite treat year-round.

HMBotel notes for choosing your ticket
Compare the inclusions above with your plans: admission, a guided visit and a combination ticket may cover different services. The venue name alone is not enough to compare them.

Booking and payment take place with Tiqets. On that final page, confirm the date, participants, visit language, final price and cancellation rules; an indicative HMBotel price is not a guarantee of availability.
