Volendam: Half-Day Trip from Amsterdam + Cheese Farm & Clog Factory Visit
About this experience
Visit Volendam on a half-day trip from Amsterdam. The tour is created with local business owners and artists and offers direct insight into everyday life in Volendam.
Visit the Henri Willig cheese farm and clog factory to enjoy Dutch cheese and watch a clog-making demonstration. See traditional wooden fishing boats being restored at the Botterwerf shipyard.
Visit a Dutch fishing village. Spend time in Volendam’s harbor, walk past wooden houses, browse local shops, and learn about the village’s maritime history through a short film and local stories.
Explore the village at your own pace. You can walk through the Doolhof and Oude Kom areas or visit the Volendam Museum. Use the digital map to find cafés and photo spots.
You can also sample local foods such as herring, smoked eel, and regional dishes at restaurants, with partner discounts at select restaurants and museums.

HMBotel notes for choosing your ticket
Compare the inclusions above with your plans: admission, a guided visit and a combination ticket may cover different services. The venue name alone is not enough to compare them.
Check the meeting point and arrival instructions before adding another activity. The displayed duration describes the activity; plan travel from your hotel and your return separately.
Booking and payment take place with Tiqets. On that final page, confirm the date, participants, visit language, final price and cancellation rules; an indicative HMBotel price is not a guarantee of availability.
