Visit the **Accademia Gallery** in Florence to see some of the most well-known artworks from the Renaissance.
Founded in 1560 by Cosimo I de' Medici, this gallery features Michelangelo's _David_, along with works by Botticelli, Filippino Lippi, and Lorenzo Bartolini. Each room holds pieces that showcase the talent of this historical period.
Next, go to the **Uffizi Gallery**, one of the world’s most famous museums, with a diverse collection of paintings and sculptures. See timeless pieces like Botticelli’s _Birth of Venus_.
The gallery also features works by Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci. Additionally, see the collection of ancient busts and statues, including Roman copies of lost Greek sculptures that highlight the Medici's influence.
