Discover the real-life people that inspired Steinbeck to create his vivid characters, and visit various locations he used as backdrops for his stories.
While walking, your tour guide Lynn Momboisse will fill your ears with fun facts. Learn the fascinating events that caused Cannery Row to go from a quaint fishing village to a booming commercial sardine industry, then into economic collapse, only to be reborn as the popular tourism destination that it is today.
See popular landmarks like Steinbeck Plaza, Monterey Bay Aquarium, Monterey Plaza Hotel, Monterey InterContinental Hotel, and San Carlos Beach. The best part about an audio tour? You can pause him whenever you like!
